A Scientist, working with the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland, has died in a freak accident. Meanwhile, Cornelius Pugh, a particle physicist working with a team of his own at CERN, can’t seem to catch a break in his lifelong pursuit of a new particle called Eon. The Eon particle could change everything we understand about the universe and time. Cornelius gets advice on his way home one day from an unexpected source, a man who calls himself Pilgrim. Pilgrim turns Cornelius’ world upside down, showing him the nature of his theoretical Eon particle. Another scientist turns up dead, and the Amender, a mysterious figure from the Pilgrim’s past, will stop at nothing to make sure that time stays the way she wants it, but at the expense of everyone’s future. Cornelius must decide if his discovery that will change the world is worth the cost in this science fiction thriller.
